Swansea Rainbow Counselling Centre

Volunteering

At the Swansea Rainbow Counselling Centre we value the help and efforts of all our volunteers, whether it be our telephone support operators, counselling staff, or administration staff, without whom it would be impossible to provide the wide range of services we offer at the helpline.

If you feel you would like to join us in our work supporting the community throughout Wales, please either contact us by e-mail, phone, or post.  Or by filling in the online volunteer application form (click here),  we would love to hear from you.

The following are some of the key areas we are always looking for support in:
Helpline phone operators
Face to Face, Telephone, and On-line Counselling
Marketing and PR
Fund Raising
Support Buddies.

Please use our Volunteer Application Form to apply for a volunteer position, which you can email back to us at – sam@swansearcc.org.uk

Please be aware that we do not offer volunteering opportunities or placements to those who have previously received counselling under our service, this is done in order to preserve the therapeutic relationships that have been established and prevent dual relationships forming outside of the therapeutic setting, Thank you.
